Corrections Policy
At The Flow Mind, we are committed to accuracy, transparency, and accountability. Despite our rigorous editorial standards, errors can occasionally occur. When they do, we believe in addressing them swiftly and transparently.
Reporting an Error
If you believe you have found a factual error in one of our articles, please contact us immediately at contact.theflowmind@gmail.com. Please include a link to the article, a clear description of the alleged error, and any supporting sources or documentation.
Our Process
- Review: Upon receiving a correction request, our editorial team will promptly review the claim against the original sources and fact-check the information.
- Correction: If a factual error is confirmed, we will amend the article as quickly as possible.
- Transparency: We do not simply erase our mistakes. When a significant factual change is made to an article, we will append an "Update" or "Correction" note at the bottom (or top, depending on severity) of the article. This note will state what the original error was, what the corrected information is, and the date the correction was made.
Types of Updates
- Corrections: Used when a factual error was made in the original text (e.g., incorrect date, misspelled name, inaccurate data point).
- Clarifications: Used when the original text was factually accurate but the phrasing was ambiguous, misleading, or lacked necessary context.
- Updates: Used when new, significant information becomes available after the initial publication of an article (common in ongoing news explainers).
Typographical Errors
Minor typographical, grammatical, or formatting errors that do not alter the factual meaning of the text may be corrected without a formal correction note.
